While he has played saxophone during his teenage years, it was not until the freshman year in business school where he started to put focus and effort in music. He started out in the jazz communities, winning 2nd place on the 36th Jazz Goes to Campus 2013 and playing the fest that year and the year after. Today, Jémi plays sessions for pop artists and is a highly demanded freelance saxophone player in Indonesia's music scene. In between performing gigs, he also spend some time in studio, working on recording sessions, and also teach saxophone lessons.
